About the Role
PURPOSE:
To support the research and operations departments within OPCG and OPC UK. Provide assistance to the Heads of Research and Operations in the smooth functioning of the department. Support the compliance and governance processes for data security, sustainability and corporate governance responsibilities for the network of organisations.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide assistance to the Head of Research and Head of Operations in coordinating activities across the departments and wider networked organisations.
Support in the preparation and execution of corporate documentation such as reports, slide packs and maintain file storage systems.
Maintain company statistics and documentation relating to ISMS, sustainability, corporate governance and auditing processes and other required processes.
Support the Information Security Management System, Sustainability and Corporate Governance processes and ensure compliance with business standards. Chair committee meetings, complete action logs and follow up on required activities.
Assist management with preparation and participation in internal and external audits.
Manage diaries, scheduling client and internal meetings, logging and supporting actions as needed.
Carry out other appropriate delegated duties as required.
Assist in maintaining all compliance documents and records
Assist in the implementation of company policies and regulations
Manage reporting, record keeping, and provide administrative support
Attend educational workshops and review industry publications to stay abreast of new compliance regulations
Assist in communication with regulatory bodies
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Assist in the development of compliance management systems
To carry out other appropriate delegated duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in business administration, law, marketing, accounting, business management, health science, biomedical or another equivalent of relevant field.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Essential:
At least three year’s administrative experience.
Experience of corporate governance, audit processes and compliance management.
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Professional attitude and the ability to communicate with all colleagues, including company Directors.
Desirable:
Strong understanding of OPC/OPCG/OPRI business process is an advantage.
